Internet Radio

Internet Radio

North Manchester (Threes a crowd). We listened to this radio station on the internet and it was like a podcast, we listened to a 7 - 9(pm) so we could play, pause, stop it. This station is a no commercial / responsabilities radio.

This station plays remix's, dance music so the songs blend in with eachother. It is 95% audio(music) and 5%(speech). The only time the presenter spoke was to introduce a song or to say their opinion on it. The presenter spoke informal, but used slang and spoke common to fit their target audience.

No commercials / responsabilities, so no adverts or news reports are played, but they do give shout out's off social networking sites just like other radio stations.

I don't mind this radio station but this was the only time i have listened to it. I do like some of the music but its niche, for people that like dance music and can listen to it constantly. Commercial and Public service radio's are broadcasted to a wide rang audience, whereas internet radio isn't. This is why it does fit the target audience, people who want to listen to this kind of music will look for radio stations like this.
